British police arrest two suspects involved in six-figure cryptocurrency fraud case

Golden Finance reported that, according to Decrypt, British police have arrested and charged two men for allegedly committing cryptocurrency fraud against a 75-year-old retiree in Aberdeenshire, resulting in the victim losing a six-figure amount. It is reported that the case was reported in July 2024. The northeast division of the Scottish police cooperated with the West Midlands Police and the South Yorkshire Police. They arrested a 54-year-old man in Coventry and a 36-year-old man in Mecklenburg, both of whom were prosecuted on the same day.
