A Golden Finance report states that the daily destruction of ETH on the ETH network has dropped to a new low for the year. As of the time of writing, the network’s basic fee is hovering between 1 and 2 gwei, reaching a new low in several years, thereby affecting the emission of ETH. Due to the lower gas fees, only 210 ETH were destroyed last Saturday. In contrast, on August 5th, when the gas fee reached about 100 gwei, the daily destruction volume soared to 5,000 ETH.
